Wade Alan
Nauman
Jan 7, 1972 — Jan 1, 2019
This is a short story of Wade Alan Nauman. Wade was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. He was an amazing husband-my love, dad, son and brother.
Wades story starts on January 7th 1972, the oldest child to Dale Nauman and Vonnie Nauman. Wade was born in Sparta WI. Wade would spend his childhood growing up and going to school there before moving to Arizona then finally finding his home in Colorado. After years of trial he was finding his peace. In Colorado is where he would meet the love of his life, Melissa Daun Kerwood, where they started a whirlwind romance and where married on January 4th, 2010. They have spent years together living in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas and lastly Utah.
Wade was renowned for his funny jokes, comments, witty humor and love for tinkering on things. There were many times he would come home laughing about poking holes in the cups at work so when people would get coffee it would pour out the bottom. Super gluing timecards to the floor. Telling the kids the stories about how the “Mohawk” was named because of a hawk coming down and taking the hair off the side of a little boy and just leaving the middle patch of hair. Talking about stories of his youth and the mischief with his sister and friends. Wade starting food fights or playing jokes on his beloved children. He loved welding and working on things. But mostly he was an upfront person for example if you were going to do stuff half assed then you might as well not do it at all.
Wade loved to look and be up in the mountains where he was in the wildlife and with God. This was his God’s country and therapy. He spent years working in erecting buildings where he would be at the top of the building as the sun cane up and take in the beauty and fresh crisp air. He ended up the last 10 years working at Scott’s Miracle Gro where he was a plant supervisor.
Wades children were his heart and joy. Alexia Rae(19) was the oldest, followed by Anthony Michel(16) the one he was reaching to be a better man and driver than himself, Dalton Alan(14) his little Pea-n-a-Pod, Colleenne Daun(7) his little daddy’s girl and lastly his precious twins Blake Wayne(2) who has his daddy’s looks and charm and Bayleigh Sue(2) his little sassy pants.
Loved ones that has cleared the path for Wade are his Nauman and Arentz Grandparents and mostly his uncle Roger Wayne Larson who was his everything growing up and his father figure whom he adored.
Loved ones that will miss Wade until they meet again are his wife, Melissa Daun Nauman; his mother Vonnie Beth Nauman; his father Dale Nauman; his children Anthony Michel, Dalton Alan, Colleenne Daun, Blake Wayne, Bayleigh Sue, and Alexia Rae; father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike & Waunda Kerwood; sister Wendy Nauman, brother-in-law Michel Kerwood; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
One more thing-
You are my Sunshine,
My only Sunshine,
You make me Happy when skies are grey.
You’ll never know dear how much I love you.
Please don’t take my Sunshine away.
And so the story goes on until we see you my love again. We love you and give them hell!
