Tyler David
Geldmacher
Jul 5, 1976 — Jan 7, 2020
Spanish Fork – Tyler Geldmacher. 43, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 following a 2-week illness.
He was born July 5,1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of David Geldmacher (of St George, Utah) and Marjorie Ann Hayes Geldmacher (deceased). David is currently married to Julie Bandley Geldmacher.
Tyler lived in Grantsville for 7 years before moving with his family to Brigham City in 1983. He began his college days at Utah State University, and finished his Bachelor’s degree (Computer information Systems) in Cedar City at Southern Utah University.
He married Emily Crandall on December 16, 1999. (later divorced). Tyler leaves behind, his loving wife, Adrema Troyer Geldmacher (married on June 25, 2018), four children, three boys and a girl. Daxon, Hayes, Asher, and Zoe. Three step children Sabastien Robbins, Bailee Robbins, and Boston Robbins, plus two step grandchildren belonging to Sabastien and Bethany Robbins. Tyler’s four siblings are LeeAnn Rupp (Norm) Lehi Utah, Laurie Berrett (Crae) Pocatello, Idaho, Angela Johnston (Colby) Parker, Colorado, and Heidi Bell (Ren) Mackay, Idaho.
Tyler was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Tyler’s work focused on managing call centers, Rehabilitation facilities, and internet marketing of various products and services. He was extremely gifted in designing and attracting potential customers to his websites, and then closing the deal.
Tyler played several sports; he particularly liked basketball, golf, and computer games. In one basketball game he scored 28 points, nine 3’s from beyond the arc and one foul shot. He loved golf and was on the golf course whenever he could get away. He qualified and played in the High School State tournament at the Jeremy Ranch golf course. He had an uncanny grasp of sports information about football, basketball, and baseball, probably from watching too much TV, and reading the sports news. His favorite teams were BYU, The Atlanta Braves, the San Francisco Forty Niners, and Utah Jazz.
Tyler had a passion for things that move him and go fast. He loved to ski, snow board and ride skate boards, and more recently electric bicycles. His two main passions in life were his friends and his family. He was a loving father, husband, and a grandfather. He treasured the time spent with his family. He particularly enjoyed family vacations, parties, holidays, and five-way video games with his brothers in law. His children were the real highlight of his life. He supported them in all their events, doted over them, and wanted the very best for them, including his time. He loved them and continually bragged about them and all their accomplishments.
Tyler was loved and respected by many; setting a loving example; his zeal for life, his cheery personality, his interest in everyone, and his interesting goings on will be missed by all.
