Terrell Jefferson Moore, 86, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on September 17, 2025. Terrell was the son of Alva Jefferson and Ellen Maxine Pay Moore born September 1, 1939, and was one of five children.

He married Normagene Hadlock on February 19, 1965, in the Salt Lake Temple. Terrell and Normagene were blessed with four sons.

Terrell served in the National Guard. He worked hard to support his family as a custodian in public schools and was employed at Cherry Hill Elementary School in the Alpine School District for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed fishing, horses, and tinkering. Terrell collected all kinds of miscellaneous treasures, and it was hard for him to part with any of them. Terrell tended to a big garden and grew pumpkins each year for the grandkids. He was very sociable and engaged with those he met. He loved to spend time with friends and especially his family.

Terrell is survived by his three sons: Daren (Dianna), Douglas, and Ryan; his eight grandchildren: Spencer (Jordan), Riley, Trevor (Jaiden), Xander (Melisa), Preston, Amanda, Lydia, and Bryson; and his five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Normagene, son Dale Scott Moore, brother David Moore, and brother-in-law Robert Beebe.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 12625 Spring Lake Rd in Spring Lake, Utah. Visitation will be prior from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church. There will also be visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment with military honors will be in Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
