Teddie And
Sheila Cross
d. Feb 1, 2021
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ted and Sheila Cross on February 1st, 2021 in their home. We count our blessings that they passed away together and are resting peacefully in heaven.
Ted (77) was born in Blockgum, Oklahoma, Sheila (73) in Detroit, Michigan. They met in Arizona and were married Sept. 22nd, 1979. This began a 42-year love story, which they loved every minute together. They moved to the Payson – Spanish Fork area in 1981 and raised a family. They were active members in the LDS church.
They both were dedicated to serving our Country. Ted spent a career in the Military during Vietnam in the Air Force and later finished in the Army Reserves. Sheila had a flourishing career in the Army as a med-tech.
They loved their daughters fiercely. Their grand children and great grandchildren brought them joy and warmed their hearts deeply.
They are survived by their three daughters; Jennie Whipple (Sp. Fork, Ut.), Lisa Whipple (Denver, CO.) and Rianne Whiting (Payson, Ut.). Their grandchildren; Jenay (Garrett) Cannon, Adrie (Brett) McCausland, Karley Slaymaker, Rylynn Whiting, Rinnlie Whiting, and Roxston Cross-Anderson. 8 great grandchildren; Quinn, Traeger, Charlie, Ripley, Laiken, Londyn, Brantley and Houston.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Walker Mortuary in Sp. Fork Ut. Saturday February 6th, 2021 at 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers please venmo donations to @tedsheila-Cross. Donations may also be made at Mountain America Credit Union under Teddie & Sheila Memorial account.
