Obituary

Steven Alan Roberts was born January 28, 1953 in Hawthorne, Los Angeles, California to Donald Eugene Sarver and Janet Ann Canfield. Janet died in 1957. Gilbert Howard Roberts and Dorothea Laura Doolan adopted him in 1959. They had a daughter, Sharon Roberts Pope, about Steven’s age. They lived in Southern California. He never married. He is survived by his two biological sisters, Terri Sarver Jensen (Stan) Williams, Desert Hot Springs, California; and Patty Sarver Knox Kasian, Shady Cove, Oregon; 26 nieces and nephews, and two great nephews. He interacted with their families since the 1970’s.

After he graduated from high school, he was in the Navy, an artist, and musician. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was very generous. He gave away countless drawings of his and bibles to others. He was well liked, and he will be missed.

His celebration of life will be at his church, Calvary City on a Hill, 105 East 100 North, Provo, Utah on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. Pastor Rudy Rodriguez will officiate. A luncheon will be served after the service. He will be buried March 3, 2021 at 9 a.m. in the Provo City Cemetery. Thanks to Walker Funeral Home of Spanish Fork for their help.
