Steven was born on November 15, 1950 in Spanish Fork, Utah. He spent his entire childhood in Spanish Fork, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1969. He attended Utah Technical College and also served a mission in Hong Kong for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1970-1972. It was in Hong Kong that he met the love of his life, Judy Shuk Yee Yiu. After about a year courtship they were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 15, 1973.

Steven found work as a Test Lab Supervisor for a pump manufacturer and worked for them for 46 years. His career took him from Los Angeles, California where his family grew and both his sons Ben and Dan were born, to Charlotte, North Carolina and then ultimately to Owasso, Oklahoma where his family settled and has lived for the past 40 years.

Steven loved doing things with his family. He loved watching his kids play sports and volunteered coaching his kids teams. He loved to run, cycle and golf but some of his happiest moments were spent with his grandchildren.

Steven was the kind of grandpa who delighted in being with them, getting down on the floor to play, joining in their fun, and making each of them feel loved and special.

Steven was also a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He served in many positions in the church where he was able to provide compassionate service and especially loved his service in the Oklahoma City Temple.

Steven will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his active spirit, and the joy he found in being a husband, father, and grandfather. His life touched those who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed. The love he shared and the memories he created will remain a lasting part of the lives of his family and friends.
