Crogan
Oct 20, 1969 — Jun 22, 2021
Our sweet wife, mother, daughter and sister, Stacie, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 22, 2021. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 20, 1969, the second of four children of Ronald Lynn Blackhurst and Susan June Erickson Hautala. Her parents divorced when Stacie was young, and her mother and father each married again, which brought another half-sister into the family.
Stacie attended schools in Boulder, Colorado, graduating from Fairview High School in 1988. In high school, she was involved in drama, being in charge of wardrobe and costuming. She then attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon; and also received schooling at Stevens Henagar College. She married, becoming Mrs. Bowcutt, and had two daughters – Tiffanie and Heather; she later divorced. Her working days included working 15 years driving a forklift for Autoliv in Ogden, Utah; and she also was employed with Wal-Mart stores.
On March 4, 2018, Stacie married her soulmate and love of her life, Sung Crogan. He and her family were her life. She enthusiastically supported her daughters in every aspect of their lives; and, loved spending any time she could with Sung and her daughters. She loved the color, purple. Stacie is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Sung; her daughters: Tiffanie Bowcutt of Brigham City, Utah, and Heather Bowcutt of Provo, Utah. She is also survived by her mother, Susan June (and Tom) Hautala; and her father, Ronald Lynn (and Edna) Blackhurst; her siblings: Ron (Kellie) Blackhurst of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Kelly (Troy) Frazier of Santaquin, Utah; Tony (Amy) Blackhurst of San Diego, Calilfornia; and Ashley Klungervik of Cottonwood Heights, Utah; three step-children and step grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews whom she was fond. Preceded in death by her grandparents: Carl “Kelly” and June Cole Erickson; and Lynn Smith and Dorothy Croshaw Blackhurst.
A visitation for family and friends of Stacie will be held Sunday evening, June 27, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah.
