Staciann
Taylor
Sep 22, 1974 — Jan 21, 2019
Staciann Taylor’s soul chose to continue its journey on Monday, January 21st, 2019 in Salem, Utah.
She was born September 22, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah and later as a 3 day newborn was adopted by loving, excited parents Dawn and Nelson Taylor and her older brother Bradley Roy gladly welcomed a younger sister.
She graduated high school from Spanish Fork High School, and briefly attended UVU where she excelled with her natural intellect. She was blessed with 3 children, Jessica, Zadie, and Maxwell. She was married to Aaron Taylor. They later divorced and in 2006 she married the love of her life, Steven Rees.
Staci was a vivacious, full of life soul who enjoyed all things of beauty. There was never a sunset, a flower or small wonder that she did not stop to notice, remark on, and enjoy. Staci always quite literally “stopped to smell the roses.”
As an avid gardener with a green thumb inherited from her father, she nursed many a plant back to health, her favorite flower was whatever one was blooming.
She was a jack of all trades, whether you knew her as an art teacher, an avid bookworm, an NA sponsor, an excellent cook or a poet, they all came with ease. She had an infectious laugh and making people feel loved and welcomed was second nature.
She spent her last few years, lovingly devoted to her aging parents, specifically her “pop.” Staci regularly brought him flowers and snacks, keeping him company and helping with his medical care.
Despite personal struggles, Staci always loved fiercely and lived boldly. She always had a comforting word, a delicious treat, or a saying to pass on to anyone who needed it. She will be deeply missed.
Staci is survived by her parents Nelson and Dawn Taylor, her brother Brad Taylor, her children, Jessica Hartman, Zadie Taylor and Maxwell Taylor and 4 grandchildren, Rian Taylor, Andie Taylor,
Jaina Hartman, Gatlin Hartman.
Memorial Services will be on Saturday, January 26th at 3pm at the Mt. Loafer Ward church at 605 South 300 West, Salem, Utah, 84653.
