With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, our friend. Sally Marie Nield passed away December 8, 2024, three weeks prior to her 70th birthday. Sally was born December 29, 1954 to Frank and Marie Robertson in Fort Riley, Kansas. She grew up in Salinas, California, with her loving parents and brother Steven.

After high school, Sally married Rodrigo Reyna. They were stationed in Germany when they welcomed a son, Roddy. Five years later, stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, a daughter, Chrystal joined the family. Rodrigo and Sally divorced and she moved to Spanish Fork, Utah. Three years later Sally married John Nield, and gained bonus children Kip, Tani and Suzette. John and Sally, Roddy and Chrystal were sealed for eternity a year later in the Provo temple.

Sally was always a hard worker. Along with maintaining a home and family, she managed several convenience stores across Utah and Salt Lake counties over the span of 35 years. With her beautiful smile, Sally blessed the lives of many people as she welcomed them into her store. She had many captivating stories of famous customers, and crazy incidents that occurred in her stores over the years. At her last store she found love once again, when she met Otto Otto. He convinced Sally to finally retire, one year ago. We are thankful she wasn’t alone these past two years since meeting Otto.

Sally was all about her family. Whether playing or reading to grandchildren/great-grands, tuning into her children’s life adventures, making crafts, or attending birthday parties, Grandma Sally always had a smile on her face, and warm hugs for everyone. Sally is survived by her children: Rod (Sarah) Nield of Salt Lake City, Chrystal (Jason) Guerra of Santaquin, Kip (Meggan) Nield of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Tani (Lynn) Snow of Santaquin, and Suzette (Alex) Morrill of Evanston, Wyoming. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, her brother Steve (Wendy) Robertson of Annabella, and Otto Otto. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Nield, parents Frank and Marie Robertson, and 2 great-grandbabies, Remington Marrott and Ellie DeAdder.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday Dec. 16, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at Center Street and 300 East, Spanish Fork. A viewing will be held from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM, before the memorial services, which will start at 1:00 PM
