Ruth Jean Guest, age 81, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at her home in Payson, Utah, on the afternoon of May 25, 2020. She was born February 8, 1939, in El Dorado, Kansas, to John Glenn Drouillard and Enid Vinita Turner Drouillard.

Her employment years were spent at Burrelle Transcription and Editing Service. Her hobbies included genealogy – she loved to research her ancestors; and, traveling – which usually took her in search of her ancestors. She moved often, but always tried to stay connected to her family. She even lived abroad, in Libya, Europe and Hawaii for a time.

Ruth is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She very much enjoyed education week at BYU.

She is survived by one son and two daughters: Randy (Ingrid) Guest, Dana Saltsman, and Mary Richmond.

She is also survived by her brother, Eddie Drouillard; as well as nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
