Peggy Lou Blair Naud, aged 77, passed away on December 15 th , 2020 after a few weeks of illness in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Peggy was born on April 20 th , 1943 in Morenci, Arizona to Burl Albert Blair and Evie Leona Norris. Peggy was the 10 th of 11 children and, growing up, loved to spend time at her family’s mountain cabin, practicing sharpshooting with her mother and aunts. She played volleyball and tennis during her high school years and graduated from Eastland High School in 1961. Soon after she moved to Dallas, where she met and married Royce Naud on the 4 th of July, 1965. Together they had five children who they raised in Richardson, Texas. Royce and Peggy later divorced.
Peggy enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, quilting, and researching family history. She loved to visit craft shows and state fairs to appreciate the handwork of others. She also enjoyed the arts, attending opera, plays, and symphonies throughout her life. She especially enjoyed throwing parties, attending social events, and seeing extended family during family reunions. Peggy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, very much.
Peggy is survived by her brothers AB (Roberta) Blair, AC (JoEllen) Blair, Alton (LaDonna) Blair, and Steve Blair as well as her four daughters Michelle (Scott) Muhlestein, Caroline Naud, Susan Naud, and Natalie Naud. She is also survived by four grandchildren Aimee Muhlestein, Katie (Anton) Bahr, Jamie Muhlestein, Matt Muhlestein, and a great grandson Roman Bahr.
She was preceded in death by her parents Burl & Evie Blair, her daughter Debra Yvonne Naud, her brothers JM Blair and JC Blair, and her sisters Leona Mae Bethany Jones, Pauline Olivia Hayes, Vivian Lorene Prochaska, and Patsy Geraldine Hart Splawn.
Peggy always wanted everyone to gather together after her funeral to enjoy chili beans and cornbread together but unfortunately, this isn’t possible due to COVID-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, we encourage a donation to feedingamerica.org or to your local food bank and share a meal with those struggling during these hard times.
