Obituary

Paul William Robinson was born April 27th, 1942 in Long Beach, California. He grew up in Washington State. After graduating high school, he went on to college to pursue his Doctorate Degree in Psychology. He attended and graduated from Utah State University. While there, he met Carol Spackman, and they were married in the Logan, Utah Temple. Shortly, after graduation Paul and Carol moved to Winnipeg, Canada where he taught at the University of Winnipeg. A few years later Paul and Carol moved to Orem as he became a professor at Brigham Young University. Paul was always a strong BYU sports fan and remained with BYU until his retirement. During most of their years he and his wife raised their family in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was a loving father who strove to teach his family to follow the example of Christ. Paul also loved having fun with adventures and activities with his family and extended family.

During his life, Paul was very active and determined individual. He wrote many books including a number one selling Experimental Psychology Text Book and several books on parenting. He and his wife brought many foster children into their home and touched the lives of many individuals.
Paul was widowed in 2004 when his lovely wife, Carol passed away. Paul loved his wife Carol very deeply and her early passing impacted him greatly. During this lonely and difficult time he and his former high school sweetheart, Linda McClellan, reacquainted and were married. She was a kind lady and loved by the family. After some years Paul was widowed a second time.

Most recently Paul was working on yet another book while giving wisdom and guidance to his family through activities and dinners, and enjoying activities with his family. Although his family is saddened at his passing, they are comforted in knowing he has found joy and peace in reuniting with his beloved wife, Carol.

He is survived by his children Marta Rivera, Michael (& Pollyanna) Robinson, Kit (& Leann) Robinson, Shawn (& Lula) Robinson, (Dave) & Brooke Poulsen. Siblings Kit Robinson and Delores Dow.

Grandchildren 23 (Jaedon, a grandson, preceded him in death).
