Nyle M. Stewart, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away on July 22, 2026. Nyle was born on July 9, 1943, in American Fork, UT, and spent his formative years in Orem before settling in Spanish Fork with his beloved wife, Kaye Hales, whom he wed on December 3, 1970. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo temple on December 3,1987. Nyle was a humble man who saw beauty and purpose in the simple things in life. His generous spirit was felt by all who knew him, and his loyalty to his loved ones was unwavering.

Nyle was a dedicated steel worker at Geneva, where he served as a crane operator for 30 years. His work ethic was admirable, and his commitment to his craft was a testament to his character. He was more than just a worker, he was a man who truly cared for his colleagues and the community. Yet, his work was not his whole life. He was also a passionate outdoorsman, a Cub Master in the Boy Scouts, and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and attending his children and grandchildren's sporting and dancing events.

Nyle is survived by his loving wife, Kaye Stewart, his son David (Kristen) Darling, daughter Lisa (Erik) Andersson, and his sons, Justin (Staci) and Tyler (Bailie) Stewart. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Stewart; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Melba Stewart; his sister, Joan (Ernie) Tsalaky, brother Ronald Stewart; his granddaughter Brienne Darling; and his in-laws, Bill and Norma Hales. Nyle's life was a testament to his love for his family, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Orchard View Assisted Living and his compassionate nurse, Krysten, with First Choice Home Health and Hospice, for the exceptional care, kindness, and the support they provided during his final months.

We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of Nyle to the memorial page so that his legacy of love, generosity, and loyalty can continue to inspire us all. His humble spirit and warming presence will forever be remembered.
