Melody Elise
Glover
Aug 21, 1962 — Jun 26, 2025
Melody Elise Glover, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and true disciple of Jesus Christ, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering service.
Her name, Melody, means “a song” or “a sweet tune”—a fitting reflection of the life she lived.
Melody’s presence brought harmony to the lives of those around her. Her words comforted, her laughter lifted spirits, and her kindness was a constant refrain of peace and love in the hearts of her family and friends.
She lived her life with quiet strength, profound grace, and a heart full of compassion. A woman of deep spiritual conviction, Melody dedicated herself to lifting others and serving wherever she was needed. Her life was a reflection of her faith, and those who knew her were blessed by her wisdom, gentleness, and unconditional love.
As a mother, Melody was a steady rock. Her children leaned on her in times of struggle and looked to her for guidance and comfort. In these last six months especially, she was a pillar of strength, offering support with unmatched tenderness and resilience.
Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy. She had a special ability to connect with and care for her grandchildren, always present, always patient, and full of love.
Melody was also known for her childlike spirit—a quality that brought light and laughter to those around her. She approached life with a sense of wonder and playfulness that never faded, no matter her age or circumstance.
She had a deep and abiding love for her brothers and sisters, both in her family and in the gospel. Melody truly saw others as children of God and treated each person she encountered with kindness, sincerity, and genuine care.
She had just begun to embrace a new chapter in her life—one of personal growth, renewed purpose, and well-earned rest. She was beginning to live for herself in small but meaningful ways when her time was suddenly and tragically cut short.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones who went before her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her selfless love, enduring faith, joyful spirit, and the beautiful melody she added to every life she touched.
She is survived by her loving children and grandchildren, who were the joy of her life:
● Nathaniel Felt, his wife Elizabeth, and their daughters Elora and Talitha.
● Elise Thompson, her husband Matt, and their children Evan, Alex, and Madelyn.
● Ammon Felt, his wife Rebecca, and their children James, Melia, Serenna, and Isabella.
● Ericka Cooper, her husband Dustin, and their children Linkin and Colin.
● Joseph Felt, his wife Chantele, and their children Aura and Maverick.

Melody was preceded in death by her beloved father, Byron J. Glover; her dear mother, Sylvia G. Glover; her daughter, Rebecca; and her cherished grandparents.
