Obituary

Marva Call, age 73, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Marva was born on June 30, 1948, to Lorin and Lola Klingler in Rigby, Idaho. She was one of 5 children and graduated from Rigby High School.

Marva was blessed with the privilege of being called mother by 5 beautiful girls, Joni, Tracy, Michelle, Victoria and Jennifer. Nothing brought her greater joy in life than her girls and nothing was more important than her family. She loved being a mother and a grandmother.

From a young age, Marva loved to sew and crochet. She made so many lovely things including all of her children’s beautiful Halloween costumes. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed listening to music especially Patsy Cline while making delicious things for her family. Laundry was always a favorite in her beautifully decorated home. She always had love to give and joy in her heart. In the end, she enjoyed eating all the butterfingers and twizzlers she could get and watching Cheers.

In her youth, Marva worked at Ben Franklin drug store.  A real go-getter, in her early years as a mother she owned a ceramics shop. Most of her life she was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mother, running and operating her household and children’s busy schedules. She always supported her girls in their dreams and goals. Our mother exemplified love and dedication to all who knew her . She always had a smile on her face and was willing to do whatever she could to help others. Even though she was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis at an early age, she never let it get her down. She fought her whole life to stay strong for her family.

Marva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and she held many callings during her life here on earth and loved to attend the temple as often as she could. She loved to serve her community and found great joy in sharing the gospel with those she loved most.

We will miss our beautiful mother more than words can express. Thank you to all who have loved her alongside us. We want to personally thank all the Healthcare and hospice care givers that helped take care of our mom the last 9 years of her life.

Marva is survived by her daughters, Joni Cestari, Tracy Call-Schmidt, Michelle Hew-Len, Victoria Klein and Jennifer Hendren. She is also survived by 19 beautiful grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a brother and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Lola Klingler-Duncan and Lorn Klingler and her sister Lorna Haddon.
