Lisa Marie Harrison
Baran
Jul 14, 1964 — Nov 24, 2024
Lisa Marie (Harrison) Baran of Stafford, VA, and formally of Antioch, CA, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2024. She was 60 years old. Lisa is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Baran; her son Jason Baran; her grandson Caleb Baran; her father and mother, Ronald Harrison and Frances Harrison; and her siblings Virginia (Ginny), Christine, and Adam Harrison.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She also was a favorite aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a loving ‘Grandma’ to extended family. She was the steady, loving support the family could always count on.
Lisa graduated from Antioch High School, Antioch CA in 1982. She married Edward in 1984. They moved from Antioch to Stafford, Virginia in 1997 where they made a new home with their son Jason.
Despite the move to Virginia, Lisa kept in close contact and was actively involved with her parents and siblings. Lisa embraced her new community, and the community embraced her back. Lisa served in the banking industry both in California and Virginia, spanning over 40 years.
She loved helping her co-workers and her customers. Her friendly, courteous rapport with her colleagues and customers was paramount; Lisa cared deeply about people.
She donated and volunteered at numerous charity events each year. She also supported various women’s groups and organizations.
Lisa was a woman of faith, a quiet prayer warrior, and she would always be willing step in when needed. She would never require recognition for her good deeds. She just wanted to help where she could. Anyone who came into her circle knew they were loved.
Services will be held at Walker Mortuary 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah; Visitation Wednesday, December 4, 2024, 11:30 – 1:15 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 p.m.
