Linda
Turner
Dec 6, 1948 — Mar 7, 2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom Linda Turner. She passed surrounded by her loved ones on March 7, 2026, at the age of 77.
On April 4, 2025, mom had a devastating fall where she fractured her neck, lost the use of her legs, and suffered nerve damage in her hands and arms. After several surgeries, many procedures, and 5 months in the hospital, we decided to bring mom home on hospice.
Mom was born in Spanish Fork, UT on December 6, 1948, to Heber & Shirley Hill. She was one of six children. Mom graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1967 where she made lifelong friendships.
Mom was married for 12 years and had two children, Brett & Abby. She later married Steve Turner on February 14, 1987, in Orem, UT. They had one daughter Bonnie, and she inherited three children Sam, Stephanie, and Shanna.
Mom was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Throughout her life she worked several jobs, always doing her best to provide for her family and support those she loved.
Mom loved the holidays and enjoyed decorating for Christmas. Her favorite decorations were a HUGE Christmas village and many many many snowmen.
Mom was a collector of things such as drinking glasses, salt & pepper shakers, frogs and spoons but her favorite hobby was painting ceramics with her friends at the Spanish Fork Senior Center.
Mom was always fun, caring, sarcastic and supportive of her kids along with ALL of their friends. She was proud of her grandchildren and loved taking them to the hostess and dollar store.
Mom was survived by her children: Abby Bray (Rory Bullock) Salem, UT, Bonnie (Alan) Hawkes Payson, UT, Sam (Dion) Turner Minneapolis, MN, Stephanie (Seth) Miles Radcliff, IA, Shanna (Jeremy) Turner Colfax, IA, Daughter in law Melissa Cornelius Springville, UT, Brother Nolan Hill Payson, UT, Sister Lana (Richard) Morrell Spanish Fork, UT, 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Mom was proceeded in death by her husband Steve, her parents Heber & Shirley, Son Brett, Grandsons Blake & Cash, Brother Elvoy and Sisters Carol & Joyce and Sister-in-law Dee.
Linda Turner was a mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.
We would like to thank Nicole and Emma from Canyon Home Care and Hospice for their love and support while caring for our Mom.
