Obituary

Lillian Davies Turner, age 76, passed away May 2, 2021 at her home in Payson, Utah, surrounded by her family.  She was born July 27, 1944, to Earl and Dorothy Davies.  She enjoyed a happy and busy childhood as the second of six sisters and two brothers in Murray, Utah.   From childhood she enjoyed the simple things of life like going for walks, eating ice cream and looking at the night sky.  She loved being with family and friends, and found great joy the beautiful world around her.   She married her high school sweetheart, Blaine, and they were companions for 57 years.  In their journey together, they learned the meaning of unconditional love.  They were blessed with three daughters whom she loved dearly.  Her happiest times were with her family, whether she was attending a family reunion or reading to her little ones.

When she wasn’t serving her family, she was busy serving her church in the Relief Society and other various callings.  She especially loved serving in the temple and cherished her time there.  She had a strong testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, and demonstrated that in her dedication to others.  She also enjoyed volunteering in her community.  She worked many hours helping her husband in his profession.  She made friends wherever life took her and always saw the good in people.   Her hobbies included reading books, doing puzzles, playing board games and watching good movies.  She also enjoyed singing and long rides in the car.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Blaine, her three children Angela (Kenneth) Rowley, Amy (Casey) Sorensen and Jill (Dave) Hatch and her 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Allen, and her sister Shirley.  She is also survived by her sisters Roseanne, Dianne, Maureen, Marilyn, and Janice.
