Kenneth was renowned for his exceptional work ethic from a young age. Growing up in Pearson, Georgia, he diligently worked various jobs, including picking cotton and tobacco, mowing lawns, and serving as a gas station attendant. His dedication to hard work stemmed from his desire to contribute to his family’s well-being.
In pursuit of new opportunities, Kenneth relocated to Spanish Fork, Utah, where he embarked on a career with Safeway Food Stores. Known for his friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand, Kenneth left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
It was in Utah where Kenneth found love and companionship with his beloved wife, Sandra Jean Davis, whom he married and was sealed to for eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple on June 6, 1964. Kenneth’s commitment to service extended beyond his professional life; he served honorably in the U.S. Army as an artillery specialist stationed at Fort Benning, GA, for four years.
A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kenneth found profound joy in his faith. He actively served in various capacities within the Church, including as a stake missionary, an Elders Quorum President, and on the High Council. His unwavering devotion to his faith brought him comfort and strength throughout his life.
Among Kenneth’s many gifts was his ability to unite his family through cherished traditions and gatherings. He delighted in planning holiday celebrations and creating memorable experiences for his loved ones. His famous barbecue sauce and culinary creations were a testament to his love and care for his family.
Kenneth is survived by his adoring children, Tracy (Matt) Larsen, Brad Davis, Diane (Michael) Nelson, Brian (Heather) Davis, Suzanne (Brent) Brimhall, and Scott (Emily) Davis; as well as 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Larry (Jackie) Davis.
