Kathleen M. Burleigh passed away on November 13, 2018 at Life Care Center of Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes.  She was born on January 8, 1944 to Eugene and Lorraine Burleigh in Salt Lake City.

Kathy loved gardening.  She loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, particularly her visiting teaching assignments.  She was proud to hold a temple recommend at the time of her death. She was a hard worker and loved doing crafts and genealogy. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She married Patry Curtis in 1974, and they were later divorced.

She will be remembered for her tenacity, her love of current events, interesting discussions, and her talents in Scrabble and Monopoly, which she often played with her children. She will be particularly missed at Thanksgiving, as she always hosted a family feast at her home in Salt Lake City.

In her younger years, she devoted herself tirelessly to raising her own siblings when her mother became unable to care for them.  She likewise took in another child, Shawn Lassen, when his mother became incapacitated.  She had a generous heart and deep faith.

She is survived by her two sisters, Sherry Angus and Mary Lynn Wyllie, and two brothers, Jeffrey Hayes and Robert Brent Hayes; by her uncle Scott Bertlesen; by her children, Robinlee Schuler, Randy Curtis (Dianne), Eric Burleigh, and by six grandchildren, Christopher Schuler, Cierra Curtis, Saige Curtis, Canyon Curtis, Kaden Burleigh, and Aydric Burleigh.

Services will be at the Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, 187 S. Main St. with visitation preceding at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19 ^th . Interment will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
