Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Julie Anne Lawrence Binks, returned to her heavenly home on November 18, 2025 in Palmyra, Utah.

She was born September 27, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ray Lawrence and Gayle Bryan Richards Lawrence. Mom met her true love, Douglas Binks, and they were married September 25, 1975 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage.

Her greatest joy was her family: husband, Doug; children, Joshua (Elizabeth), Jason (Tiffany), Spencer (Holly), Melinda (James), Steven (Kortney) and Tiffany (Shawn). She is also lovingly remembered by 27 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She attended Olympus High School and graduated in 1973. Following graduation, she furthered her education by receiving her Diploma as a Medical Receptionist from the Salt Lake College of Medical and Dental Assistants.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many church positions in the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society organizations. She served as Young Women Camp director for many years and loved being with the girls. She loved them, connected with them, and impacted many lives. She also served as Relief Society President and loved serving the sisters. She also had the opportunity to serve with Doug as a temple worker at the Payson Utah Temple.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, serving others, flower gardening and crafts.

Julie is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild; husband, Doug; sister, Cathi Swenson; and brothers, Gary and David Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Elisha.

A viewing will be held on November 25, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home (187 South Main St, Spanish Fork). The funeral will be held on November 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Palmyra church (1866 West 5000 South, Spanish Fork). There will be a viewing prior to the services on Wednesday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 am.
