Joyce Mallie Harrison Creer, 88, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away on April 11, 2022.

She was born on August 12, 1933 in Spanish Fork, Utah to John B. and Florence Mildred Thorvaldson Harrison. She graduated from Spanish Fork high school in 1951. She married her sweetheart Howard Nielsen Creer and they together raised five children, Calleen, Michael, Patty, Virginia (Ginger) and Clayton.

At the beginning of her marriage Joyce worked at the Del Monte Cannery, and then for the Nebo School District as a Title 1 aid at Rees Elementary. She adored working with the children. Joyce enjoyed her time serving in the Jaycees, on the PTA, Order of the Elks, on the Chamber of Commerce, and with the Senior Citizens with her husband.

Joyce was an amazing cook. She loved dancing with her sweetheart, sewing, traveling with friends, and most importantly, she loved spending time making memories with her family.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various callings including Primary, Relief Society presidencies and enjoyed her time serving for many years as the compassionate service coordinator.

Joyce is survived by her children, Calleen Argyle of Spanish Fork, UT, Michael H Creer (Tracy) of Hershey, PA, Patty Chappel (Robert) of Spanish Fork, UT, Son-in-law, Shane Hansen of Spanish Fork, UT, Clayton J Creer (Carolyn) of Spanish Fork, UT, brother, Johnny T Harrison (Alice) of St. George, UT, 16 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 11 step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard, daughter, Virginia Hansen, sisters, Jean Simmons, Elaine Baum, and son-in-laws, George Argyle, and Paul Liston.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. located at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
