Jordon Jerald
Cox
Aug 28, 2000 — Apr 18, 2026
Jordon Jerald Cox passed away at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Jordon was born on August 28, 2000, in Payson, Utah, to Scott Cox and Holly Kinkaid. He grew up in Spanish Fork, Payson, and Salt Lake City, attending school in each of those communities.
He married the love of his life, Mariah Nevarez Cox, of Spanish Fork. Together, they dreamed of becoming parents one day, a hope they held close to their hearts. Their home was filled with love for their three dogs—Stormus, Rainbow, and Hunny Bears—who were truly part of their family.
Jordon worked as a framer and took great pride in building things with his hands. He had a natural instinct to step up for others and was a fiercely protective, loving big brother. His heart was generous without limit; he consistently put others before himself. Strong yet humble, kind yet full of humor, he had a gift for making people laugh no matter the circumstance.
A talented soul, Jordon played guitar, wrote songs, skateboarded, tattooed, and crafted the funniest stories. He was truly one of a kind. He loved being outdoors and found peace at “Dripping Rock,” a place where he could clear his mind. He cherished fishing with his dad and, in his younger years, camping. Animals held a special place in his heart, and he adored his pets.
Jordon was loved deeply by all who knew him. He enjoyed his Pabst Blue Ribbon and was always looking for a “drinkin’ partner,” eager to prove he could outdrink anyone. Beneath the humor and bravado, he remained a gentle, tender soul. In his own unforgettable words: “You’re such a good F@#ing guy.”*
He is survived by his wife, Mariah Cox; his mother and stepfather, Holly and Raymond; his father and stepmother, Scott and Ashley; and his siblings Jude (Cameron), Skylar, Alexis, Jenna, Izreal, and Izaak. He is also survived by his in laws Letty and Eliseo, Christian, Amado and Aliya, Kevin and Lisa, Angel, and Sebastian; his nieces Juniper, Raven, Nova, Madison, and Elliana; his nephew Sayd; his aunts and uncles Melanie, Becky and Dillon, Michael and Jamie; his cousins Riley and Ashley, Kade, Gauge, John, Savanna, Emma, Tyler, and Jackson; and his grandparents Danny and Rosemarie Cox, Vicki Cunningham, and Merle Muncy.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East. A luncheon will be held immediately afterward at the Spanish Fork River Park on Highway 6 (Pavilion B) in Spanish Fork Canyon.
