Obituary

Janene (Jeannie) Mae Jaynes passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born May 16, 1973 in Provo, Utah to Shirley Kruse Weeks and Leland (Pete) Weeks. Jeannie (as she was known to most of her friends) brightened everyone’s day, gave incredible hugs, adored her family, and loved to be anywhere there was a party or friends. She was an energetic gym instructor, a caring teacher, and an incredible massage therapist. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Tabatha’s Way food bank and sharing her love with the many people her life touched.

She married Nathan Jaynes in 1997 and spent 22 fun-filled years with the love of her life. She is survived in life by her three sons Devon Scott Jaynes, Tyler Lance Jaynes, and Isaac DeLoit Jaynes; her mother Shirley W. Hopkins, and her siblings, Josie (Donald) Brooksby, Richard (Elizabeth) Stevens, Jacqui (Kent) Boots, and Robert Hopkins along with her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 18th, with an informal gathering at 4:00 PM and funeral services at 5:00 PM at the Canyon Ridge Ward building, 1850 South 2300 East, Spanish Fork, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a GoFundMe page that was set up in her honor to help her family with medical expenses.
