Gregory Allen Hatch, 69, passed away on November 4, 2020, after hospitalization treatment for pneumonia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Hatch, in September of 2020.

Greg was born on January 12, 1951. He was the second of 5 children born to Merrill and Marvalis Hatch. In childhood, he was diagnosed with polio. But through God’s blessing, he escaped the crippling effects of the disease.

Growing up in Southern California, Greg participated in the typical neighborhood outdoor activities of baseball, football, hide and seek, hiking, bike riding, and skateboarding. He was a Boy Scout in Troop 133 and a member of the track team at his high school.

During his adult years, Greg worked at a restaurant, for a construction company, and various jobs in manufacturing. He was known for his dependability.

Greg loved cars and over his lifetime, he bought and sold many makes and models. His car buying impulse often times annoyed his wife, but was always a lively discussion for the family. He was also a fan of NASCAR racing and could tell you the names of all the drivers.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together with his wife, they served for a period of time as temple workers.

Greg is survived by his step-son, Bobby Green; and his siblings: Mark Hatch, Kent Hatch, Scott Hatch, and Karen Crawford.

From our understanding of God’s Plan of Salvation, Greg is now reunited with his wife and other family members who have crossed over the veil, into the spirit realm, preparing for the resurrection.

There will be a graveside service for Greg at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020, at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
