Obituary

Emily Morgan Haroldsen, age 16, passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28th in Provo, UT to her parents Joseph and Jennifer. Emily is survived by her parents and her siblings: Carter, Meg, Leah and Livvy.

Emily’s beautiful blue eyes welcomed everyone that she met with tenderness and kindness. She loved little children and loved being with her friends. She is one of the famous creators of the game Jengopolife. Most recently, she loved the people she met delivering meals on wheels, calling bingo at the senior center and working with children at the elementary school. Emily loved tossing her rifle, jumping and dancing as she participated in colorguard winning two state championships with Spanish Fork High School Marching Band.

Emily loved art and in particular loved to sketch. She created beautiful drawings of flowers, dress designs, animals and people. Emily enjoyed hand lettering. She loved being in nature. She particularly loved being in trees and taking people on tree walks. She loved to share her knowledge of trees with everyone and test herself in naming what types of trees she saw. Emily loved swimming and felt at peace in the water.

One of Emily’s favorite places was in her home with her family, friends and cousins. She loved to choreograph dances or play just dance with her friends in the neighborhood. She was very proud of her “Pro” status in Wii bowling. Emily brought great joy into our home.

From her Father: I will miss my movie buddy, her laugh, hugs, smile and her joy for life.

From her Mother: I will miss her hugs, singing, sketching and planting flowers every spring with me.

From her Brother Carter: She has left an irreplaceable hole. I will miss her light, her love, her joy.

From her sister Meg: I will miss everything about her, crazy adventures that I dragged her along on, inside jokes, hours and hours of laughing at ourselves, parks and rec references

From her sister Leah: Who will play with me? I will miss my favorite sister.

From her sister Livvy: I will miss her laugh, her smile, my craft buddy and getting tackled whenever I come into a room.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” We love you sweet girl and know that our Heavenly Father will take care of you and loves you. We have hope in our Savior and look forward to the resurrection when we will see you again. We love you Emily.
