Dennis Ernel Harward passed away peacefully surrounded by family, August 29, 2023.

He was born December 27, 1947 to LaVon and LaVon Harward. He grew up in American Fork. He enjoyed many activities like baseball, football, and scouting.

He graduated from American Fork High School in 1966. From an early age he was very industrious and always had paying jobs like a newspaper route, working in a garden nursery, a dairy farm, and an auto parts store.

As an adult, he worked in sales in the communications industry. From two-way radio sales for Motorola to the tower business in the Midwest and Texas, he earned several awards for his performance.

He enjoyed outdoor activities including boating, fishing, and golfing. He had a passion for and was very knowledgeable about airplanes.

He served in many church callings and enjoyed family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Kay and Jeffrey Harward.

He is survived by his wife Diana, and children Heidi (Cory) Ritz, Traci (Kyle) Harward, Alisha (Denny) Astin, Angie (Clint) Cote, Aaron (Jasmine) Harward; 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Steve (Jane) Harward, Jason (Barbara) Harward, and JoEllen (Jim) Martin.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Mount Loafer Ward Chapel, 695 S 300 West, Salem, Utah 84653. There will be a viewing from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. The funeral will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will be at Salem City Cemetery, 965 South 140 East Salem, UT 84653. A luncheon will be held after.
