Obituary

Dayne Brady Stone of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away in a tragic ATV accident, Thursday, November 5, 2020. His last day was spent doing something he loved: escaping into nature, a place he spent countless hours of peace and enjoyment during his life.

Dayne was born June 24, 1992, in Payson, Utah, to Howard and Cindy Stone—the beloved baby of his family. He attended school in Spanish Fork, graduating from Spanish Fork High School. He served an LDS mission in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and graduated from Brigham Young University in 2018.

From a young age, Dayne was filled with love for others and had a calming, gentle temperament. He was accepting of everyone, and put his energy into fighting for the underdog and making the world a better place—one person at a time. He will forever be an example of quiet service and unconditional compassion. It’s these attributes, and more, that secured Dayne’s place as the decidedly favorite uncle of his nieces and nephews. He would play with them for hours, giving his full undivided attention, easily outlasting parents and grandparents. He spent many nights cheering for BYU football and the Utah Jazz, and playing cards with friends and family.

Dayne is survived by his parents; his brother, Brandon (Irene) of North Salt Lake, Utah; and sisters: Jessica (Dane) Church of Springfield, Illinois; and Shelby (Trevor) Dahl of Valencia, California; and grandparents, Ron and Lee Lisonbee of Spanish Fork; as well as ten nieces and nephews, who each felt a special bond with their uncle, with two more on their way. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Thane and Lola Stone of Spanish Fork.

Funeral services for family will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. Friends are invited to view the services at
