Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, Cynthia Child Donalson, passed away peacefully on January 15 ^th , 2023, surrounded by those she loves. Cindy was born on June 28, 1948, to Spencer and Virginia Child. Born in Inglewood, California, she was the oldest of five siblings. Cindy and her family moved to Oregon when she was still very young and would remain there until she graduated from Hillsboro high school (where she was captain of the cheer squad).  She then moved to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University. Cindy lived in many different states throughout her life but most of her years were spent in various cities around Utah.  Cindy was employed at several different dental offices as an office manager for most of her career and was very good at her job.

Cindy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her time serving in many different callings throughout the years. Cindy will especially be remembered for her love of reading and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Cindy also was a very good artist and writer and was incredibly creative in many other ways as well.

Cindy is survived by her four children, Jeff Donalson (Tasha), Ben Donalson (Kendra), Amy Collins (Elliot), Bonnie Roden (Dan), 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Cindy was predeceased by her parents and younger sister, Melanie.

A celebration of life open house will be held on Saturday, February 11 ^th from 3-5pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at 160 S 460 W Salem, Ut 84653.

In lieu of flowers, her kids have requested that you get your favorite book and a Pepsi (her favorite drink) and enjoy a few hours of relaxation, like Cindy would. We will miss you mom and we love you. Until we meet again……..
