Carlin Jeffrey
Bills
Mar 10, 2021 — Jan 11, 2024
Carlin Jeffrey Bills, age 2 years, died in his parents loving arms on Thursday, January 11th 2024, at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. After struggling with RSV, pneumonia, and lifelong pulmonary vein stenosis, he passed away peacefully.
Carlin was born on March 10th, 2021, in Provo, to TJ Bills, and Ashlee Hansen. Carlin was eager to begin his journey on earth, arriving ten weeks early. He spent eleven weeks in the NICU in Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, and Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Carlin received surgeries and other procedures before he joined his parents, and his twin brother, Waylon, at home.
Carlin was always happy, even while spending months in the hospital throughout his short life. His favorite things consisted of tractors, big trucks, airplanes, and anything with four tires. Some of Carlin’s favorite activities included coloring, playing trucks with his brother, riding on anything with wheels, and making us laugh.
Carlin was the light of every room he entered, smiling at every stranger, and melting the hearts of all who met him. To know Carlin, was to love him. He had the soul of a warrior, a smile that put the sunshine to shame, and the love that we could only imagine in fairy tales. The world is a much lighter place after having him in it. Even though Carlin was only on this earth for a short time, he impacted his family and every person around him for the better. Carlin taught us how to live, how to fight, how to love, and how to see the good in even the worst of situations.
Carlin Jeffrey Bills will be greatly missed, but we have had the comfort of knowing he has other duties to complete. His physical duties in his earthly body were finished.
A celebration of Carlin’s life will be held on Wednesday, Jan 17th, 2024 between 11am and 12pm At Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork. We ask for all who attends to wear bright colors, in honor of the bright life that Carlin lived.
