Barbara Kay Muder, 79 years and 358 days old, passed away March 17, 2023, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 24, 1943, in Spanish Fork, Utah. The daughter of Elmo & Erma Kay, she was the 2nd of four children. She attended Spanish Fork High School. She married Barry Vincent, and they raised their family in Springville, UT. Barbara later married Larry Muder, and they spent ten beautiful years in Shumway, Arizona, until his passing in June 2007.

She loved gardening & flowers, had a green thumb and could grow anything. Barbara was quick-witted and sarcastic, loving to share laughs with those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, two children, Andrew and Sharon, Sharon’s infant daughter Elizabeth, and her sister Katherine Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Suzette (Rob) Verdine; sons, Matt (Tiffany) Vincent and Brent (Melody) Vincent; her grandchildren, Jesseka, Harrison (Priscilla), Matthew (Alexa), Thomas, Isabella, Nicoletta, Kalaya, Rahm, Madison; one great-grandchild, Hazel; one sister, Susan Ballard; one brother, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by Larry’s posterity: 7 children, 27 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She has an amazing posterity that she was immensely proud of.

Although Barbara has passed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire and uplift those she touched throughout her life. Her family and friends will deeply miss her, but her legacy of love and friendship will endure forever.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with a public visitation beginning at 10:00 at the LDS church at 878 West Center Street (East Building), Springville, UT.
