Andrea Gentry
Hansen
Jun 19, 1978 — Jul 29, 2023
The most loving mother and grandmother that touched many people’s hearts and turned them to gold.
Andrea passed away in her home in Saratoga Springs, on July 29th, 2023 at the age of 45, too soon for any of us to see her go.
Andrea was born June 19, 1978 in Alpine Utah to her wonderful mother Ann Gentry, as she grew up with her two brothers Nick and Judd who were her best friends.
She Went to American Fork High School, graduating 1995, Where she met her life long best friend Garrity that has stuck by her side for all these years helping her through every hardship she ever endured. As she attended Utah Valley University she earned her degree and continued her career as a head dental assistant for 25 years to support her family, leaving a lasting impression of hard work and love on everyone that got the chance to work with her.
Her greatest achievement in life was her 3 children Abbie, Aspen, and Max, as well as her grandchildren. She loved them with every fiber of her body and did everything in her power to make sure they had everything life had to offer. She never did a selfish thing in her life as she always put everyone else before herself. She had the smile of an angel and brought laughter and joy into every room she ever walked in. There was just a glow about her that made you feel like everything was going to be alright even if it didn’t feel like it at first.
Andrea left this world leaving her husband Phillip Hansen, but leaving an imprint on his and many others hearts that we won’t forget. As Andrea and Phill got married September 6th, 2019 her vows read this, “I had spent years building walls around my heart, and had no intentions of letting anyone in… Until I met you. And my walls just started falling down. I felt something I’d never felt before. I felt your kind, honest, and genuine heart. And I finally felt safe.” This shows the love she had for her husband and everyone else that had the pleasure to be her friend and meet her sweet soul for the time it was here.
As Andrea left this world she will not be alone as she is preceded in death by her little brother and best friend Nick Gentry who watched over her in every aspect of life before and after death.
